Experience.com for Professionals
The goal of this project was to bring the power of the Experience.com enterprise platform to a new audience: small businesses and independent professionals. The platform—originally designed for large businesses to manage their customer experience and online reputation—includes robust tools like survey creation, review management, listings management, SEO analysis, and more. Our challenge was to adapt these enterprise-grade features into a streamlined, self-serve experience tailored for individual professionals like mortgage loan officers and real estate agents, helping them grow their business and stand out online.

Users
For this project, we focused on direct-to-consumer professionals—specifically Mortgage Loan Officers and Real Estate Agents. Our goal was to better understand their workflows, needs, and pain points in order to tailor the platform to their day-to-day experience.

Business Needs
A key business objective was to expand into the small business market by creating a new self-serve sales channel. This meant designing an experience that could onboard and support new users without the need for hands-on sales or onboarding support.

Development
To stay aligned with our existing technical ecosystem, we collaborated closely with engineering to build on top of the current platform. By reusing existing components and infrastructure, we were able to move quickly while still delivering a tailored experience for this new user persona.

Historical Context
The platform has evolved significantly over multiple iterations during my time on the team. This latest version builds on insights gathered from past versions and ongoing user feedback, allowing us to refine the experience with a deeper understanding of what works—and what doesn’t.

Industry Trends
To ground our design decisions, we conducted a competitive analysis of similar platforms and direct competitors. This helped us identify best-in-class patterns, avoid common usability pitfalls, and deliver a modern, intuitive experience that stands out in the market.
